Often looking for information on medicines in your daily practice or while travelling? VIDAL for iPhone is the essential tool for mobile practitioner and students.

VIDAL for iPhone gives you access to the whole of the VIDAL database on medicines. Available at any time with no internet connexion, this “advanced” tool enables you to consult medicines monographs. It is simple and fast to use.

Data are updated free of charge twice a year, in June and November.

Functions and contents:
It contains:
- all medicines marketed in France
- reference information from official texts
- fast search function for medicines from 4 entries:
· marketed name
· substance
· indication
· laboratory name
- menus, hypertexts links and specific icons to facilitate navigation
- historic to find consulted monographs quickly
- a Favorite option to save the favourite products information.

Conditions on use:
Strictly reserved for healthcare professionals and their accredited and qualified team members.
VIDAL would like to inform users that the application for iPhone contains information obtained from French Agency on the Sanitary Security of Healthcare Products (Afssaps) or EMEA and from other official sources which VIDAL does not replace. VIDAL cannot be held responsible for the lack of information or the presence of inaccurate information when mentioning pharmaceutical products and pharmaceutical laboratories alone.
The development and realisation of this application are indeed so complex that VIDAL cannot exclude omissions or the presence of inaccurate information. VIDAL promises to rectify omissions or errors that it’ll have noticed or brought to its attention by users. Moreover, the rapid evolution of the knowledge of medicines requires a regular update of the data contained in this application.

Anyhow, using this application does not dispense healthcare professionals from checking the information available with health authorities or any other official sources of information. This application cannot replace the decision of the prescriber, sole judge of therapies to consider. In consequence, VIDAL cannot be held responsible for any direct or indirect damage, in particular those resulting from the action of a third party against the practitioner, and that can result in omission or inaccurate information in this application, including any third party action against the practitioner based on the responsibility regime owing to defective products, as defined in the articles 1386-1 and the following of the civil Code.
