The 2010 official Ryder Cup iPhone App will provide you with an unparalleled fan experience, including many innovative features that bring you closer to the action at Celtic Manor. The PGA of America and the European Tour have synchronized this App for all users whether cheering for the U.S. or Europe. Fans of both sides can post comments to the App’s Social section via Facebook Connect, crystallizing Ryder Cup banter directly within the App.

Push Notifications will allow Users to obtain an additional level of event coverage by receiving breaking news, hole-by-hole scoring, session scores and match results. Users will be able to turn the alerts on and off altogether or individually.

The Course section provides imagery and descriptions for all of Celtic Manor’s 18 holes at the swipe of a finger. Hole photos are also included, and are displayed via a “rotating card” feature. Team Wins for each hole are provided as a unique team performance stat, and Flyover Video captures course detail from a bird’s eye view of each hole.

The App will be free for all scoring, player, alert and course content, and utilizes the iPhone’s In-App Upgrade feature to provide U.S. users access to exclusive Live Video and Sirius/XM Radio for $1.99.

Live Scoring is displayed in a side-by-side format that leverages the horizontal feature of the iPhone to bring even more detail to a team competition format. Match scoring and results are provided with Projected Points if a match were to end at that current point in time.
